Trigger Warning for Miscarriage
Regina heard the bedroom door open and close behind her. Her gaze remained in front of her, unfocused, barely blinking.
“Regina?” She recognized the voice. Snow. Come to console her, of course. If Regina had any room left inside her for another emotion, it would have been revulsion.
Snow walked around the bed and pulled up a chair so she could be on her step-mother’s level. She was taken aback by Regina’s appearance. Her gray silk pajamas were wrinkled from several days of wear. Her normally carefully coifed hair was a mess of grease and tangles. She was pale, her eyes bloodshot, the circles under them large and dark. Snow reached for Regina’s hand. Regina did not pull away. She didn’t speak or even look at her visitor. The silence only added to Snow’s concern.

“Come in,” Regina replied to the knock on her office door. She’d been there since early in the morning, occupying herself with town business to keep her mind off of the prior night’s events. She looked up as the door opened, and her heart sank. The very person she was avoiding had found her.
OOC - Plot idea
Apr. 22nd, 2014 04:59 pmI just had the most insanely wonderful plot idea ever. Regina's hooked up with Robin, yes? What if when it comes down to the moment Snow's baby is about to be born, Zelena is there about to steal the baby and BAM - Regina steps in and offers up herself and HER baby instead. Jaws drop. She apologizes to Robin for not having told him that she's pregnant but she just found out (yeah right. she found out and was terrified). She talks Zelena into it. "What's 8 more months when you're going to go back in time anyway?" Zelena disappears with Regina and then suddenly all of the roles are reversed - Regina is the damsel in distress, and Robin Hood and Charming lead the rescue mission.
Surgery Hiatus Round 2
May. 23rd, 2012 05:23 pmAs you know may know, I'm having surgery again a week from today (May 30th at 9 a.m.). This is a more involved surgery that will be taking place at the hospital, where I may be kept overnight for observation afterwards. Cards and well wishes are welcomed (and encouraged). Reply if you want me to send you my mailing address. And I'm still on AIM and such if you want to chat.
Mentally preparing for this has made tagging very difficult. I'm sure you've noticed I've been very laggy lately. I just don't have the energy and focus to be my usual ray of sunshine. After the surgery, well, who knows how much pain I'll be in and for how long. I'll be on a clear liquid diet for 4 days, that much I do know. Yipp-fucking-ee. So I'd say don't count on me being back after the operation for at least a week. Try to have fun while I'm gone, difficult as that may be.

Mar. 13th, 2012 09:28 pmAs most of you know, I'm having surgery Thursday morning. I expect the anesthesia to have me out of commission for the entire day. I do not know how many days afterwards it will be until I'm feeling up to, well... sitting up. And being on the computer requires sitting in a chair. So I will be away indefinitely, hopefully hopped up on very good painkillers.
